For Kyoko Mori, one of the occupational hazards of being Chief Engineer onboard the Stellar Typhoon is that she's often called to deal with with all sorts of problems at all hours, and she's never quite sure exactly how long it's going to take to fix them. Even if the fault's well within her capabilities - such as this faulty shower in Leslie's cabin - the unexpected does sometimes happen...
I think this has to be one of my most complicated artworks to date, taking about three days to complete - one day for the characters, another for the background, and the third for all the smaller details. I spent a good chunk of that third day redrawing Leslie from scratch - I originally drew her in the sports bra and yoga shorts which constitute her nightwear, but at the last minute I suddenly decided she should be in a towel, and my initial attempt to draw this over the existing drawing failed.
