“Gamma, master musician of the Starlight Sapphire club, stands atop the stage at the end of the club’s hall, violin in hand. Her four brilliant pale-gold-and-white wings are spread out behind her, glimmering in the light of the hall as they and her tail work to keep her upright on her hind legs as she plays. Sylva, Alder and Cassiopeia are seated at a table very near to the stage and are all gazing up serenely as they bask in their friend’s gentle yet powerful performance while simultaneously indulging in the top-shelf dining offered at the Sapphire. This period was the height of their lives, back when they were just getting on their feet, together as friends, all growing in wealth and status and becoming icons of their community. These were the months before the fateful expedition where they would discover a trove of relics and inadvertently shift the course of dragonkind’s future, more often than not for the worse. Friends would be found warring against friends— some voluntarily, others not. However, that is tomorrow, and this is today. But they had best enjoy their golden age while it lasts, as the future never stops approaching.”

Guess who’s back for their monthly visit to the sub before submerging back into the abyss! I’ve got yet another needlessly complicated piece to show off this time, which is very unlike me. I don’t know where I keep getting the energy for these huge works. Regardless, this features the same AU and OCs as last time, save for Gamma, the newest gal :D. She’s a SilkWing-SeaWing and quite the musical prodigy as well as a good friend of Sylva. I pretty much made up everything surrounding her recently, including her design, lore, and the club itself she works at, but I’m fairly happy with how it turned out. The Starlight Sapphire is quite a major hub of socialites, diners, and musicians alike, and who’s surprised, given its heavenly atmosphere, great food, and even better performers?

I hope I didn’t bore you to sleep with all that, but I think of and write a lot to go alongside these pieces, and I hope you enjoyed it. Sadly, I had to downscale this image to a 4th of its original res because the file size and resolution limits on this site are ridiculous if you don't pay for the premium, which I definitely can't justify given my activity on here can be described as middling at best. Also, I genuinely wasn't lying when I said there will be some more naughty stuff soon enough. Finals have been beating my energy levels and motivation into the ground, but I promise that there's more on the horizon.
