Best piece to date, in the shortest time to date. Done in a single night using paint tool sai to (finally) present a species I created. His name is Haze, a Nocturnan Vorgir residing in the Twisted Slipstream, a forest bordering the territories of Nocturna, the city of eternal rain. Style is a combination of cell shading and airbrushing.

## Excess Lore ##

The species of Vorgir are notorious for their trickster natures, especially those of the Nocturna genus that are identified by their dark fur and quite often marked with bloodline tattoos. The Nocturnan Vorgir reside around the territories of Nocturna, inhabiting the variety of forests and rocklands that surround, occasionally venturing into the city of Nocturna, where they are received unhappily (quite often as slaves or assassins).

The species is sentient, and very intelligent, their builds allowing for quick and precise movement. The Nocturnan variety wield unparalleled night vision. However, their most well known aspect is that under an increased heart rate and body heat, their fur and horns change colour to one of which does not reflect light, hence becoming invisible. This attribute brings the Nocturnan genus some level of distrust from the general populace, due to their capabilities as thieves or pranksters.

While generally fitted to the underbelly of operations, the villages of these beings are quite often very welcoming of outsiders of any species, provided they can prove their ability of intelligence, or quite simply, outsmart a tribesman. Regarding the use of tattoos, the paint between a Nocturnan Vorgir's eyes are unique to their family bloodline.
