i wandered around my small home aimlessly to pass time when my mind was snapped back to reality by my door bell, i ran to the door and opened it and was greeted by a young man in in a black suit with bright red hair "you must be peters right? I'm mr. Anderson I'm here with the extra species exchange program." the man greeted. I simply nodded "ya that's me. So the limnal I'll be looking after is here?" i asked slightly nervously. It had been a few months since limnals or demi humans had made themselves public knowledge and the extra species program started, and for some reason i had signed up simply hoping for some nice company though a nice love story wouldn't be a bad thing. mr. Anderson smiled "yep she's in the truck" he pointed to a large moving truck just as the door on the back opened "she? wonder what she is? Then again if she's in the back of a truck like that she mush be larger then a normal human or limnal. Lamia,mermaid,centaur what could she be? Will i be a good caregiver?" my mind raced until a long black leg stepped out followed by three more, out of the truck strode a large black spider with the upper body of a woman with beautiful ebony skin and long black hair with six dark red eyes. However i was still trying to comprehend the giant spider part. "no. No that can't be the one their placing in my care. Why a spider?" my mind again raced this time out of complete fear. The large spider woman moved up towards my door and without thinking i let our a horrified shriek catching everyone off guard most notably the spider woman and drawing some attention from the those nearby to the poor girl "is something wrong Peters?" Anderson asked clearly confused to my clear terror my mind again snapped back to itself "yes. no. Sort of. I have arachnophobia so i'm kind of panicking at finding a spider limnal will be staying at my home". I could barely get the words out between my chattering teeth. mr. Anderson looked at me then to the now frozen woman "yes that would be a problem. Well if necessary we can take her back if you want". That was it i had an out they could give her care to someone who would be better and i could get someone who was literally anything else. But that would be rather cruel wouldn't it? I was the reason she was here after all so just throwing her to the curb not only would that possibly break her heart but may ruin my odds of caring for another limnal. "no. I'll look after her. I think i can handle this. If not i can call you right?" Anderson just nodded and motioned for the spider woman to come over. The woman drew near showing how tall she was as she stood a good foot taller then me despite my five nine height. "hello sir" the spider gave a courteous bow. Well i suddenly felt like scum as i returned her bow with one of my own "my apologies for my reaction just now. May i ask your name?" i tried my best to hide my fear as i greeted her. "my name is Octara and yours sir?" she politely responded but clearly thrown of by my scream moments ago. I took a gulp before responding "my name is Vincent,Vincent peters." Octara smiled before Anderson chimed in "excellent seems like you two are getting along already. Well we will have some contractors come by and make any necessary arrangements for this house. Octara if you need any thing just give me a call. Ta". Before either of us could get a word out he had already gotten back in the truck and was leaving the street. We both watched as the truck sped off. "did he give you his number? I never got it since i don't have a phone yet." octrara asked, i simply sighed "nope". I already know I'm going to hate mr. Anderson. " well let me show you around. Its a bit small, i hope that wont be a problem." i opened the door and led the arachne into the house. "I hope i can handle this. She seems nice enough though so maybe this won't be so bad.
