Alas - his action to save the black and white hoofed creature was in vain. Just as dogs are prone to barking, cats to meowing, the cow couldn’t resist. Unfortunately now - that call of joy was heard by the keen ears of another now joyful Husky.
Being picked up off your feet by a macro can be an exhilarating experience. You get to see the world from their perspective, you get to be super close to them, you can pet them, and plus if you’re close enough to the chest you can hear the pounding heartbeat that essentially powers the large macro. But in this case - Beardsley is thinking anything but!
Reede being an innocent bystander not aware what life is like near a macro carnivore - unfortunately got to see a rather primal aspect of such. Reede may devour entire burritos without so much as biting into them from time to time after a sleepy stupor but to see the same kind of thing happen on a much larger scale is of course - not exactly fun to see. Good thing the camera is facing the other direction haha.
