Aurora was shocked to discover that Laurence, a master of ice and snow, had never once been ice skating. With a flick of her tail and look of determination on her face, she knew it was time to change that. Aurora quickly found a set of skates that would fit over the prince’s large hooves and donned her own skates. Ones that she had been given as a child. The signs of age apparent on them, as they were well loved and well used through the years.
Stepping onto the ice, she masterfully skated the pond, checking for any cracks or uneven patches along its surface. With a small twirl she returned to the pond's edge where Laurence shakily stood on the ice.
“It’s ok. I’m here if you feel like you’re going to fall” she stretched out her hand and guided him across the ice.
