A photograph of a fanart piece for Vicky Wyman's Xanadu that I'm getting around to uploading because I finally have a camera that can take a decent picture of it (the original is 11" x 14" and too big for my scanner) and managed to charge the battery long enough to get the picture taken. This was done in charcoal pencil back in 1990 (yes, my old art is actually old enough to legally drink) when I was taking college art courses and getting to work with some media for the first time ever. I'll bet I could do a lot better on this picture nowadays but I'd probably choose to work with graphite than charcoal which is so blasted messy.

Featured here is good friends Tabbe Le Fauve and Jonathan the mule and their (at the time) recent addition, golden dragon Kinomon Firestarr. All characters are of course © Vicky Wyman
