Maybe a fax machine.
I wanted to showcase what was one of my first fountain pens, the Jinhao X750. Although you find it for under $10 today, I had never spent so much on a pen, so even this cheap Chinese fountain pen took me ages to actually pull the trigger and buy it.
But, let me tell you, I used the heck out of it. Took it with me everywhere I went and used it whenever possible.
These days, it mostly remains uninked, but I'm still thankful for the gateway it provided.
And I drew Tamala because I used to draw her a fair bit back in the day, a character this pen has experienced before.
