I cannot even begin to say how great your work is, A_Blue_Deer! Thanks a lot for sharing your work on FA! It's great to see pictures like this because you do a great job with coloring and background detail, and those are things many people just leave out. I also really like your detailing; your lighting and shading is very soft and you draw clothes particularly well. The red glow of the halo and the various scifi lights and buttons are nice touches as well.
As a side note, thanks for doing art for Seppel's card game-that's how I found out about how awesome your work was!

If Commander William Riker can be a red shirt in command. Why not a up and commong Lieutenant in training for a command position?
:P Nerd time here. XD thing is Red Shirts where only Comand in Next Gen, Kirks Time Red-Shirts where Securit, Cannon Fodder, and comunications and engenerring.

I'm fully aware of that and as I stated I am ranked as a lieutenant head of communications and operations, not a commander and in training for command. It's simply my character who is currently in training for command and relieving the captain and his next in command during a late night shift in the day. In addition, Uhura and Scotty were far from cannon fodder in that series. Lowly security officers were typical cannon fodder on away missions.
Also, is there a reason that you wish to debate this under the artist's submission? I've explained the why already and would rather not clutter up his upload going back and forth regarding what we both know already. The explanation I gave is valid and would stand up. Photographs of crew and videos of red shirt tragedies doesn't change or alter the the submission nor explain away that 'all' red shirts are cannon fodder.

Didn't want to debate this but if I gave that impression that wasn't my intent. I didn't see the explanation yet. BUt when you kept saying Riker in your post I got the impression you confused the shirt meanings between TOS and TNG

I dunno why, her coy/smug smile makes me compare her to Kirk enough, I wanna say she's looking at all these uncharted planets hoping to find some hot green furred beings to meet in private.
I never thought I'd enjoy furry Trek art this much, and as usual the eyes always draw me in. I love your style here and just about every time!
