Original description: I've not been entirely sure on how to draw Kitsune2 in a way I'm happy with. Though I'm quite fine with his colour scheme and his clothes, his head and hair have always been in a state of flux. So here I'm deciding to make some other Kitsune2s from different alternate timelines, most based off ones I've seen from other people to kinda give some variety while I consolidate on my version
of him. The sizes are measured in feet. From left to right:

1. The cute kid: This fluffy fellow is the version of K2 that I draw the most. He's the closest to the LapFox Halley canon, a young, funny and sweet fella who represents the wonders of childhood.
He's surrounded by retro games and makes tearjerkingly cute chiptune songs. In fact, I'm pretty sure Emma Essex (LapFox Trax's creator) intended him to represent his childhood, so that I guess is
why he's so young looking. Though he's good at video games, he's not perfect. He's tried programming his own game and has tried to beat Battletoads, Touhou and some others. All with massive failure
and loads of tears shed on his part despite how he usually congratulates and compliments otherwise fictional game characters (sweet!). After all, if he was good at everything, he would just become
another boring annoying unlikable "Mary Sue" character who gets everything on a silver platter much like Rey from The Force Awakens. Though he's good at speaking other languages and likes inflating
himself to cheer others up. Come here K2, I wanna hug you so tight you're so cute!

2. The Hot one: This boy is a more grown up Kitsune2. Inspired by someone else's artwork of Kitsune2 for his remix of The Queenstons song Hot One, he's more grown up, looking around 18 and having an
almost Jet Set Radio look to him. My goal with this version of Kitsune2 was to make him look stronger than the cute little kiddy we're all used to. I've also made him into a Jet Set Radio tagger too,
he's all rollerskates, graffiti and no video games. Though the question remains, what made him lose interest in video games to begin with? Why go to such desperate measures for fun as graffiti? You decide.

3. Pre-Ordna / FNF version: Dear Jazz. I. Hate. This. Version. Of. Kitsune2. You may have already seen him bleeding to death in the Ordna Awakens trailer image, but basically I saw a video of a mod for
Friday Night Funkin' where Kitsune2 tries to KILL the Boyfriend. Hell, he even becomes or vomits out some sort of Chaos daemon looking spirit at the end! Now I know that FNF is about EVERYONE trying to
kill you through rap battle (because World Of Jerkass is a perfectly fine trope with NO flaws everyone!), but those versions of, say, Mario or Tankman are most likely Faceless from XCOM2 in disguise,
working for an unknown assailant. There's no way someone like Megaman X or Rayman would want to hurt the Boyfriend! Seeing Kitsune2 try to kill someone is TOTALLY out of character for him, so I decided
that this version of Kitsune2 was tainted by Chaos and would eventually be rebuilt as Ordna after Boyfriend gives him a painful lesson. Yep, Ornda was inspired by a Friday Night Funkin' mod despite the
fact I've never played the game. Chaosune2 as such shares a lot of design similarities to Ordna minus the part machine bit. (Still FNF Kitsune2, you HAD to let the Chaos Gods manipulate you like that!
Clearly you have less IQ than Chris Chan!)

4. The crazy one: He's the scariest looking of the bunch, but he's still way nicer than FNF Kitsune2. He's inspired by some other people's drawings of Kitsune2 where they make him look a little mad. This
rowdy rat is a bit older than the normal Kitsune2, but is still pretty young. He's still a gamer at heart, but he's got a bit of apparel to suggest that he's a fan of the more violent games. He's even got
a Muton themed backpack and some DOOM keychains to reinforce this. This Kitsune2 is clearly more powerful than other Kitsune2s minus Ordna. Perhaps he was even able to program his own games and beat the 1st level of Touhou AND finish a Dark Souls game on top of that? Perhaps he's not as innocent as we'd hope? Does he have a horrible backstory where he was born in a lab and was saved by his LapFox Trax friends? With his more mature appearance, there's more stuff he can do such as pick up a gun or Mega Buster or even ride a jetbike like in Forsaken 64.

So that's really it, and now they're hugging me (minus FNF Kitsune2). AGH! Get off me! You're all too cute! That tickles! Heh heh hahahahahahaha! See ya later!


Boy oh boy was I in love with Kitsune2 back in 2021. I even went as far as to make a size comparison too. Moving swiftly on, all I'll say is that I hope Ordna Awakens reignites that love for Kitsune2.
