A bust done by the wonderful
Chatuluka Month Paki, known in most circles as Necromancer Patch is a character from a fictional world I'm writing called Aunia. He's one of the first necromancers in the multiverse and arguably the most powerful. This drawing is actually an export of that character for another setting entirely, where I made him a Death Channeler (someone who can control dead matter around him as easily as he moves his arms) from Rensvan (GM quote: "Where Aarn's black people are from.") If you watched Firefly at all, the export's personality won him votes as the group's River.
Anyway; Original description of character (very not finished):
Name: Necromancer Patch
Real Name: Chatuluka Month Paki
Age: ?
Race: Gnoll (Spiritkin, Greathound)
Sex: Male
Abilities:
Melee fighter augmented by necromancy. His favored weapons are the short sword, the Spiritkin Arm Blade and the Glaive. Patch has been around so long, he is an expert in Blight and the mutations it creates. Mutations that normally take a lot of devotion to the task to create for most Necromancers take Patch a fraction of the time and he can change his set of Mutations in an hour or two if he wants.
Personality:
Old soul. Literally. Patch has seen it all, or most of it. Slow to anger, devoid of any doubt in his abilities, pitiless. Pushing his buttons means digging up aspects of his life that have been buried for thousands of years. Do so at your own risk.
Description:
Necromancer Patch keeps the same appearance he had during his life: A lithe, young, and strong Greathound Spiritkin (anthromorph canine). His fur is a soft mix of golds and browns all across his body. His facial features are very reminiscent of a jackal. His flesh is purely a simulacrum though, and his appearance becomes more beastly and frayed as he gets angrier or exerts himself.
Current Story and Goals:
Necromancer Patch, while wanted as the leader of the largest cult of gnolls in Aunia, has been quiet for quite some time. He appears from time to time, just to make his presence known and show the world he hasn't vanished from life; always with a great show of destruction. His cult, a group of gnolls that call themselves Twilight Triage (everyone else calls them Patchers), claims he seeks the redemption of the Spiritkin race. Think crazy undeath cult, except the leader isn't really the leader.
Necromancer Patch has been a constant thorn in the side of Spiritkin and Fey alike for decades. His goal is to wrest control of the fonts of power located in the Spiritkin Plains on the earth mote Serniel and its sister font located in the Farrow earth mote cluster. Patch has been quiet for many years, rumor being that he recognizes the stalemate he has against the people protecting the fonts of power and is merely biding his time, waiting for someone to slip. His followers, nicknamed Patchers, have not been so quiet though and constantly cause problems all over Aunia.
Backstory:
Necromancer Patch began his life as Chatuluka Month Paki, an intelligent young Greathound Spiritkin in the Spirit Plains of Serniel. Son to Elders Musim and Aziza Paki and brother to Anju Paki.
