Hey all. ^^ as you can well see I've made some changes to Kumi in response to Sonne's Scrap picture http://www.furaffinity.net/view/5466275/
This Picture is to show you people how easy it is to come up with your own character without having to copy someones ideas.
Now I'll admit that one of the main reasons I made Kumi was because I saw Sonne's OC/Fursona. But I wasn't gonna be a dumb and Copy her design and change two colors. I felt bad when I happened to try a new look for her and it turned out to look like Sonne. She confronted me and we talked it over and made the changes in a heartbeat because I didn't want to be a jerk and copy her character. That's just weak and it's sad to know that there are people that do that kind of crap.
You know it's not that hard to make a character of your own. All you need is creativity and to put forth the effort to make something you can call your OC.
It's not cool to steal someones art and ideas. That doesn't sit well with me. So please, respect Sonne and her artwork and STOP COPYING HER CHARACTER! >:(

Sonne, I hope this helps spread the word that people need to stop copying Sonne and come up with there own ideas.I also wish to thank you for being and awesome artist and a great friend. ^w^

Aw well said Neon. I'm just happy that Sonne was so sensible to talk to you about the similarites so you could change the design instead of start a flame war. I'm happy for the both of you. ^^ Kume's new look really looks good and I love her boots hehe. Really awesome picture Neon and nice message too, I've seen that people do copy a lot of others fursonas or OCs when all you need is an imagination to create your own original character. = )
Thank you *huggles* ^^ Yeah I was really happy how she handled the situation and I was just happy to help out by making the changes to Kumi's Design. ^^ the last thing I want to be is an art theif X.X Sonne is awesome x3 I love her work, so I felt Ishould back her up. :D
there really are no words to describe how warm and fuzzy inside it makes me to know that there are people out there who genuinely care about me like this, and i know alot of artists encounter thievery and copying -quite- often, but i never knew i'd actually have people backing me up when it happens to me so frequently <33 thank you very much

Always willing to help a friend out ^w^ When I saw your scrap picture I felt really upset about the people who did that to you and I wanted to use my artwork to express my feelings about it. x3 I'm so happy to know I've helped you. and if you ever need someone to back you up. I'm always willing to lead a pen. ;3
Oh good god this is so awesome, and to an awesome cause! This charrie has also undergone quite a neato change here. It truly is sad these days hat people feel like it's just too hard to make something original, or they do it for "popularity" purposes. Keep up the great work!!
