This book completes the trilogy about Chakona, its inhabitants, the interaction of the chakats with some humans, skunktaurs and other races, such as the renzar and the rakshanis. All framed within the universe created by  Goldfur It's been almost two years of continuous work and it's fair to mention such important people  sethtriggs  Marksan  Wolfbane115 and all the people from Tales de Chakona Discord for fans.

CHAPTER 68

As Chakastra advanced in the sky, the day became more pleasant. The cool breeze that came from the sea slipped through the crowd that crowded the beach at that hour.
Gerak-Nee, the Rakshani engineer, walked merrily, swinging his thick tail from side to side as he accompanied Natany Sivem. They both wore comfortable bathing suits. The female Renzar wore a two-piece, while the cat wore simple shorts.
"And in Raksha there are beaches like this?" Natany asked, curious.
"There are... But the color of the water is slightly different," Gerak replied.
"In Grom too. Sometimes I miss the landscapes and life on my planet," Natany sighed. With a smile, Gerak asked:
"Natany, what made you migrate to Chakona?"
The Renzar, after reflecting for a moment, replied: "After graduating from the academy in Gromnia, I applied for a program of the Chakona Government that sought to strengthen their local police force with new renzar elements. How the trip and stay were financed by the government itself, I made the decision without much thought. And I think it was a good decision. Life here has been very pleasant."
"And you, Gerak, why did you come to Chakona?" Nathany asked.
"Hmmm... To put my cut short military career behind me after the accident that cost me my arm," the feline replied bluntly.
"But your artificial arm is awesome, I love it!" Natany said with a smile as she clung to him. The Rakshani blushed slightly at the feel of Natany so close. After walking silently for a few meters through the crowd, the Renzar turned to him and gave him a warm kiss on the lips. Gerak blushed even more as he felt Natany's enthusiasm. After a few moments, the cat opened its eyes and realized that Esteban and his friends were watching and talking to each other, a few meters away.Principio del formulario

“Wow… There's Natany and Gerak-Nee! They make a cute couple, don't you think?" Commented Doren wagging hys tail.
“Heh heh… It's true. Natany looks so pretty in a bathing suit!” Jhonny said, lying on the sand.
“Yes, the rakshani too!” Vera added, after which everyone started laughing. After a few moments, Esteban asked.
"And how is everything between you?" Jhonny and Vera looked at each other and smiled.
"Great, bro."
"Yeah. My father finally accepted that Jhonny was my partner." Vera said smiling.
“We are happy for you two!” Lilethe said, taking both of their hands.
“It was not easy at first. But I think Tiber realized that my love for Vera is serious,” Jhonny said in turn.
"Vera... Your mother is a very attractive female, if I may say so." Esteban commented.
"Yes, she is. Jhonny thinks the same, right love?
"Uh? Well I…”
"Oh come on Johnny. You know that I don't care. I have learned a lot from mom. She is very sensual and uninhibited. She was always our ally in this whole process.” Vera added.
"That's true. Without Carla's help, things might have been worse. But that already happened. True, love?" Johnny said.
"True!" Vera responded, giving the human a tender kiss on the lips. The five friends were enjoying the time, happy to be together. The waves of the sea gently caressed the sand, while Chakastra warmed their skin. None of them noticed, however, the slow, soft step of a pair of chakats on the sand. When they reached them, they greeted with joy.
"Hello friends!"
They all looked back to see Lorna and Rockshie holding hands, smiling at them. Lilethe, who hadn't had a chance to speak to Lorna since hy left the hospital, stood up and gave hym an emotional hug.
“Lorna!... Thank you for everything. And I'm so sorry I worried you!"
“Everything is fine Lilethe! I am very happy to see you and Esteban safe." Responded the chakat hugging hym back. Esteban and the others also greeted them with an affectionate hug.
“It's good to see you recovered, Lilethe. And Esteban… It makes me happy to see you well!” Rockshie said, dressed as a lifeguard.
“Rockshie. I insist. You look great in your uniform!” Said the engineer.
“Thank you Rockshie, for trying to help us that night. And for accompanying my Esteban.” Lilethe said in turn.
“I'm happy for you, Lorna. You two make a cute couple too!" Doren commented in turn, smiling at them. Lorna and Rockshie blushed a little and smiled back.

A gust of wind nearly blew off Relia's wide-brimmed hat as she strolled across the sand, enjoying an ice cream sundae with Holly.
"Wow, there are a lot of people today!" exclaimed the polar bear, wearing a striking red bra and a thong of the same color.
"Yes, it's a beautiful day to enjoy as a family. I'm sorry my mom didn't come with my brothers. But hy had to say goodbye to Uncle Ugkar," Holly replied.
"Oh, hy must be an extraordinary person," Relia commented.
"Hy is. With hys talents, hy brought us all together and we managed to help Lilethe," Holly added.
"I see. Look! I think there is Mr. Regthar and his wife over there. And there are other people too!" Relia said, looking at a group of Renzar sitting on the sand a few meters away.
"That's right. Esteban and Lilethe are there too! Why don't we go say hi to them?" Holly added, flicking hys fluffy tail in the wind.
"Of course!" Relia agreed. But at that moment, another gust of wind caused her hat to come off her head and roll several meters towards the sea.
"Wow! I don't want it to get wet!" exclaimed the bear running after it. The hat landed at the feet of a huge Renzar who was currently looking out over the ocean.
"Excuse me," Relia said. The Renzar turned around, picked up the hat, gave it a little shake, and handed it to the polar bear.
"Thank you, sir," the female thanked, taking the hat. As she was about to return, the Renzar stopped her by grabbing her arm. Her polar bear froze. Looking closely at the face of that stranger, her whole body trembled.
"You... You... It can't be!"
"Grrr... I... I couldn't leave, Relia... I didn't make it to board that spaceship. And I stayed here in Amistad these days, wondering... if I had made the right decision," said the Renzar, wearing an orange shirt and dark pants.
"Droquen," Relia whispered, shaken with emotion.
"Forgive me for not telling you... But I needed to be alone before..."
"Droquen," repeated the polar bear, this time lunging at him and giving him a tight hug.
"Oh, Droquen. There's nothing to forgive! I'm so glad you're here," the female said, nestling her head on his chest. Holly, seeing them together, smiled and walked over to them. Relia, excited, exclaimed:
"Look Holly! He's Droquen! He finally stayed here!"
"So it was you. I felt your presence in the city a while ago," the young skunktaur said with a smile. The Renzar nodded.
"Well, welcome back to Chakona, heh heh," Holly said. Droquen, crouching down, embraced the skunktaur. Then he stood up and looked Relia into her eyes.
"I stayed because… after thinking about it, I decided that I want to be with you, Relia. All my life I cared for and protected people because it was my duty. But with you, caring for and protecting you is a need that comes from my heart."
"Awww... Droquen," Relia sighed, before giving him a deep kiss on the mouth. They both kept hugging and kissing for a few moments. Holly was pleased to feel Relia's positive thoughts. The couple then separated and between them embraced the young skunktaur, whose skin began to emit a pleasant fragrance.

In the Skunktaur Archipelago, meanwhile, Ugkar and Rogar were saying goodbye once more.
"Ugkar, I must confess that when you went to Vika the first time, I had many fears about you. But now that I know how much you have grown, I am calm. And Vroeg would be proud of what you have achieved," Rogar expressed tenderly.
"Meh… I couldn't help myself from being promoted to Lieutenant Commander. But I'm glad everything went well," the skunk replied with hys characteristic disinterested tone.
"Oh Ugkar! You are so cute! I look at you and I can't help but see my brother."
"Aunt Rogar, you sound like Esteban. Please, don't make me feel uncomfortable."
"Okay. And tell me something, did you open the envelope that Vroeg left you?"
"Not yet. Something tells me to do it when I get to Vika. And I confess I'm a little scared. This is all so strange to me," Ugkar admitted. The dean, caressing hys curly hair, declared:
"Don't be afraid, son. Open it when you're ready."
"I will. Now I must go. Say goodbye to Neftor, old Bram and your colleague Ben. That human is the only trustworthy one after Esteban."
"Heh heh. I will. Give my regards to Krim. Take good care of yourself, Ugkar."
"Bye, aunt," said the lieutenant. Hy then gave the old skunk a loving hug, then disappeared in the flash of teleportation.

At Amistad beach, Natany and Gerak-Nee approached the group. Lorna and Esteban warmly greeted the Rakshani with a hug.
"Hey, don't be sweet you two!" Claimed the feline crossing his arms.
"Soon the three of us will be back to work again!" Esteban said.
“Hmmm… I prefer Johnny!” Gerak replied. Everyone remained in silence.
“Gerak! Are you serious?!" Lorna inquired in disbelief. The Rakshani then approached Esteban and took him in his arms.
“Wow!”
"Of course I'm not serious. This boy is the soul of the team. And I'm glad to have you back, you little idiot!” Gerak replied giving him a lick on the face.
"Awww..." was heard in the environment.
“However, I'm not willing to suffer again because of you… Also, I don't want my fur soaked in your misadventures, boy… So… Natany! Natany, please have Esteban!" Gerak said, handing the boy over to the Renzar and brushing off his fur.
Natany, receiving him in her arms, declared:
“Awww, come on Gerak, don't be like that to my boy. For me, he has always been a reason for good luck in fights, and a wonderful nephew." Natany said, placing an affectionate kiss on his lips. At that moment, Sorah approached them and asked Natany to carry Esteban.
"Mom, what are you doing?" Said the engineer. But Sorah, without answering, tenderly picked him up, snuggling him close to her.
"Mom please, you embarrass me!" the boy protested, but Renzar, with a smile, declared him.
"We love you, son" giving him tender licks on the face. Esteban, moved, brought his lips closer to Sorah's and gave her a tender kiss.
“Grr… I ask for him! I ask for him!" Varta suddenly exclaimed, approaching them. Then Sorah handed him over to her mother, who carried the boy in the same way.
"Little by little we will get to know each other, my little human grandson, ha ha ha." The dark-furred female said. Esteban, with a nervous smile, only managed to nod, while he began to blush intensely.
"Ok. Ok. Varta, give me my son,” Regthar said, picking up Esteban again.
“Hey Regt, put me down already, okay? I feel ridiculous." the boy protested.
"You come with me!" Said the male taking the boy out of the group.
At that moment, Holly, along with Relia and Droquen, approached them. Avik, seeing them, was surprised.
“Wow, look who we have here. I thought you had gone to Grom, Droquen!”
"Mr. Avik! Well, I finally didn't leave." The aforementioned responded.
"And I can see why," the old Renzar replied, looking at Relia.
“Hello again Mr. Avik. You still look great scantily clad." Said the polar bear seeing Renzar in the tiny bathing suit and remembering the incident at the hotel.
“Heh heh… Thank you daughter. Did you hear Varta?” Said the male looking at his ex-partner. Lilethe walked up to Holly and greeted hym with a warm hug. Then everyone welcomed the newcomers.
A few meters further on, Regthar carrying Esteban in his arms, stopped. Then he told the boy to close his eyes.
"What!... Please dad, enough!"
"Esteban, listen to me please!"
"Okay! Okay! I will close my eyes. That's it! And now that? Are you going to throw me into the water again?” The human said something impatient. At that moment he perceived soft hands around his neck. At the same time, he felt the cold touch of a small pendant on his chest.
"Now open your eyes." Told him a soft voice. Esteban was surprised to see Sachi in front of him.
“Sa… Sachi!”
“Sachi asked me to bring you here, boy. Now I leave you. Don't be long." Regthar said, leaving Esteban on the ground and returning to the group.
"Esteban. I wanted to return the pendant that I gave you, and that you lost in the accident. I put a new chain on it.” The female said with a smile. Esteban, on the verge of tears, pounced on her, and gave her a tight hug.
“Sachi! I'm so sorry for all you suffered because of me. And for Lilethe. It must have been difficult for you."
“It was, Esteban. I never imagined that this Faise fellow, a patient of ours, would be a monster. And by Grom, I was who sent you hys home that night.” Renzar said with tears in her eyes.
“No Sachi! None of this is your fault. You are a wonderful Renzar. Lilethe and I love you very much. I love you Sachi. Outside of the family, you are my favorite Renzar." Said Esteban caressing his face. Then, they both gave each other a spontaneous and prolonged kiss on the lips, blushing intensely. Then Esteban testified.
"Come with me!"
"Oh no Esteban. It is a family reunion that you have there. And I don't want to bother."
“Don't be absurd, Sachi!...You are part of us! Come!" Esteban insisted, dragging Renzar almost by force. The female wore a striking blue swimsuit and a pareo of the same color. Upon reaching the group, Esteban was surprised to see that, between Doren and Lilethe, there was also Ugkar, dressed in hys traditional Federation uniform.
Chakastra began to decline towards the horizon, while the soft sea breeze refreshed the skin of all those present, who decided to make a circle on the sand. In the middle, Regthar recounted excitedly, how he, along with Ugkar and Doren, fought against Faise and Grosh. Lorna was lying on the sand next to Rockshie. Next to hym, there was also Doren, Holly and Ugkar, although as always, the lieutenant was not comfortable with so many people around. Next to hym, Jhonny and Vera remained embracing. Carla and Tiber, along with Sonia and Don, were seated next. On the other side, Natany leaned on Gerak-Nee. Sachi with Relia and Droquen. And beyond, Sorah, Avik and Varta.
Outside the circle, a few meters away, Esteban and Lilethe looked at everyone with deep emotion.
“I can clearly feel your emotions, Esteban. And they are the same as I have. I am happy to have family and friends like them.”
Esteban nodded silently, snuggling Lilethe against his chest. Then, he tenderly gazed into the skunk's eyes as they reflected Chakastra's brilliance.
“Oh Lilethe. You are so beautiful. The shine in your eyes was always the guide I had in my moments of darkness." The boy suddenly said.
"And yours, was the light that made me come back." Lilethe replied. Between the two of them, it seemed that time had stopped. They looked at each other tenderly, and then, little by little, brought their lips closer and melted them into a candid kiss.
The afternoon progressed and those present listened fascinated to Regthar's story. Then Doren using hys telekinesis, took pictures of the entire group using hys PADD suspended in the air. Later, after saying goodbye to everyone, Ugkar teleported back to the Chakona Gateway. Jhonny and Vera returned to the Civitas hotel with their families, while Lorna accompanied Rockshie in hir work as a lifeguard on the beach. Relia and Droquen headed with Holly to Rena's house, while Regthar and the Renzar family returned home. Gerak-Nee and Natany walked back together along the wave-lapped shore.
But Esteban and Lilethe remained together, contemplating the sunset.
“You know one thing, Esteban. I think Ugkar is right. You should visit your sister on Terra. I did not have the opportunity to know her well. If you do, I want to go with you."
“We will, my love. We will visit Angela. I also want to get to know her and her family more." replied the engineer. After taking a few steps together, and seeing how other families had fun with their children on the beach, Lilethe declared:
“I wish I could give you a son. But I don't know if that's possible between us. But, I would like you…”
“Lilethe… I would be the happiest man in Chakona if that happened. But we'll see. For now, I'm happy here and now, with you. Time is the most valuable thing we have. And spending it with you is my happiness.”
“And you are mine, Esteban. Thank you for existing!" Lilethe answered, and then melted their bodies and souls in a warm kiss and hug. Happiness, this time, had come to stay, under the warm rays of the sunset in Chakona.

Epilogue.

Planet Vika-B, 20 years later...

Rays from Vika, the planet's mother star, brightly illuminated the capital city, founded near the Krikar base. The coastline was bordered by beautiful white sand beaches, while a large crowd of people enjoyed that day.
Facing the sea, in one of the apartments in the main building, Aldorah Krim and Ugkar Skunktaur calmly watched the sunset. It had been a long time since they first descended to the surface, beginning the experiments and construction work that allowed for the subsequent colonization of the planet and the exploitation of its natural resources, under the direction of Doctor Petra Picha.
The Voxxan was returning to the apartment she shared with the Rakshani and the Skunktaur, their lovers and family, after years of working together. As she was about to enter, a group of officers dressed impeccably in Federation uniforms approached her from the hallway. Petra surprised, looked at them curiously.
"Excuse me. Are you Doctor Petra Picha? We're looking for Miss Aldorah Krim. She lives with you, doesn't she?" asked one of the officers, a brown-furred Chakat.
“Y…Yes.” Petra answered.
“We need to talk to her. Is she home?" The officer insisted.
"Yes one moment please." Answered the voxxan as she entered the apartment. Inside, Ugkar and Aldorah were enjoying a delicious meal.
"You're finally back, my pretty foxy!" Ugkar exclaimed upon seeing her. However, the skunktaur immediately noticed her worried face.
"Is something wrong, love?" she inquired.
“Um… There are some federal officers outside looking for Aldorah.” Petra replied. The Rakshani pricked up her ears and got up from the sofa where she was comfortably seated.
"Federal officers?" Aldorah inquired, looking at Ugkar strangely. With the usual precautions, hy approached the entrance and observed on the monitor the presence of a chakat, a rakshani and a renzar, dressed in the typical uniform, waiting in the corridor. The three looked at each other for a moment, until Aldorah finally declared.
"Okay, let's see what they want"
At that moment, Ugkar opened the door, ushering in the three visitors. The chakat, starting the conversation, declared:

"Greetings to all. You are Lieutenant Commander Ugkar Skunktaur, I presume. My name is Chakat Elborn, from the intelligence division of the Star Federation. On behalf of the Courts of Justice of Chakona, and the Military Court of the Federation, we have come to execute ordinance number 4572-B issued today, due to the completion of 20 years of deprivation of liberty, to which it had been damned, Lieutenant Aldorah Krim.”
Ugkar and the rakshani were stunned. Aldorah approached them unsteadily and asked.
"Wait a minute Shir Elborn. The twenty years of sentence, are they fulfilled today?
“That's right, Miss Krim. As of today, the military court restores all your rights as a citizen of the Federation. From this point on, you are free to move anywhere in the universe you want. Your seclusion ended. And your sentence has been fulfilled. Please sign here to formalize this notification.” Said the chakat, presenting a device similar to a PADD but larger, with the official documents. A sense of relief washed over Aldorah. Tears escaped from his eyes. Doctor Petra, also excited, exclaimed.
"This is wonderful!"
After signing, Aldorah hugged Ugkar and Petra with emotion. The Rakshani and the Renzar escorting Chakat Elborn nodded. Immediately afterwards, the Renzar, with a special apparatus, approached Aldorah and told her.
“Miss Krim. I will now proceed to remove the Court's tracking device from your body. Please don't move."
After a few squeaks, and a small incision in the skin, the officer extracted the small subcutaneous device, and in front of everyone, destroyed it, as indicated by the procedure. Then, the formalities completed, Chakat Elborn say goodbye to all.
“Miss Krim. Lieutenant Ugkar, Doctor Picca. I have fulfilled the order given to me. Thank you for facilitating the process.”
"Thank you, Shir Elborn," Aldorah replied. At that time, the Renzar addressed the chakat and declared.
“Shir Eborn. I request permission to stay a moment longer with the residents.”
Ugkar and Aldorah looked at each other strangely.
"If they agree, there is no problem, Commander."
Ugkar, somewhat surprised, hastened to reply.
"Ehh... Yes, he can stay, Shir Elborn."
“Well, don't be long, Commander. Have a good afternoon. Tail high!”
“Tail high!” they all answered in unison. As the chakat and the Rakshani officer withdrew, the Renzar removed the helmet he wore on his head and saluted.
“It's nice to see you again, Ugkar. And it's nice to meet you, Miss Krim. You too, Doctor Picha. I have deep admiration for your pioneering work here.”
The skunk, with its mouth open, could not believe what hys eyes were showing hym.
“Hajo!? Are you?!"
"Yes, Ughkar. It's me. My father and my brother send you many greetings. And you too, Miss Krim.”
“Oh my… How long has it been… You…. You were just a ball of fur when I left Chakona last time... And look how big you are!... Aldorah! Petra! He is Hajo Sivem Grovem! The son of Regthar and Sorah, and brother of Esteban!"
“It's nice to meet you Hajo. Thank you for coming so far to Vika.” Aldorah said giving him a hug. So did the voxxan, wagging her tail.
“Honestly, I volunteered to be here. I wanted to see you, Ugkar."
“I see, boy. Come with me." Said the skunktaur giving him an excited hug. After a long and pleasant talk about the latest events in Chakona, Ugkar invited Hajo to the balcony of the apartment, where Vika's golden rays illuminated the building, almost from the horizon.
“It's good that you're here, Hajo. Will you be in Vika-B for a long time?”
"Not precisely. I must travel to Grom for my nephew. An elusive two-legged, tailless skunk.” Hajo replied with a smile.
"I see. And speaking of skunks, you know something? I was never sure if the message that Vroeg left in an envelope at the Amistad orphanage was for me."
“It was for you, Ugkar. That I can assure you." The Renzar replied with a smile. And then he added.
"And I see, that you listened it."
After a moment, in which they both looked at each other in silence, a simultaneous laugh broke out between them. A laugh that took a long time to fade, just as Vika's light took a long time to hide behind the horizon, that afternoon in the city.
