Around the time I knew I had a crush on Clemmers and wanted to experience it vicariously through Nick, I was on a small road trip with my dad. Since I don't like to draw or do sketches while in any kind of moving vehicle (car, train, etc.), I usually listen to music to get ideas for stuff like this. Normally, I can't stand most '50s rock n roll (at least white singers. I can't stand Elvis a lot of of the time), but for some reason, I suddenly found it much more engaging and romantic when I associated it with these two.
I like to imagine that when they were dating, they would often hang out at a burger joint near the university (loosely based on The Varsity in downtown Atlanta, even though it's more or less nothing like the one here). Here, Nick shows off to Clemmers the showoff he's hiding deep down.
I'd highly appreciate any comments about the reflection. I think it could be better.

i think the reflection is just fine, and very clementine. i never posted the rest of the Chactaw wedding comic but in later pages she was dancing with Rusty at a bar so she obviously likes to do this XD just you draw her doing so in a much more romantic and tasteful way, i love 50s stuff, so fun.

The only reason I draw her so tastefully is because I haven't drawn porn before, mainly because I've never needed to, if you get my drift. I usually draw things just to make myself laugh. I've been practicing, tho, and I might be posting some naughty Nick-on-Lulu action.
