The world's gone to hell; raiders roam the plains, mutated monsters stalk the helpless, all the water is practically radioactive, and all you can get on your radio is some really old ass songs. No wonder people shoot each other in the wastes.

Nik always likes to be heavily armed, and since the Brotherhood of Steel doesn't accept outsiders and has strict rules, his only other option is the Enclave. Hell, they got the best weaponry and armor, you'd be crazy not to join.

Don't worry, he's just sticking around long enough to take what he can and leave; Nik's not big on being ordered around. The folf just wants to shoot some Deathclaws in the face and blow all his caps in New Vegas.
