"Dark Spectral Khroma... COLORIZE!!!"

Another potential spoiler for KHROMATICA: The Story of the Magical Warriors and inspired by me going down a Pretty Cure rabbit hole thanks to Pretty Cure All Stars F, if I ever find a way to make this work organically, this would be a potential ninth Khroma Keeper! However, unlike Khroma Keeper Diamond who is the culmination of all colors, this guy would represent the very absence of color. But black is a color, right?

Enter Khroma Keeper Obsidian, the obligatory Dark Magical Girl (or boy in this case) that would be an attempt by the Big Bad to beat the Khroma Keepers at their own game. Not sure how I would involve him into the story, but I do like to think that initially the Khroma Keepers take a liking to him until he reveals himself to be on the side of the villains. Another idea I have is that he is the end result of Hikaru aka Khroma Keeper Diamond coming into a universe where he shouldn't exist and creating an anomaly... an anomaly that manifests into a Dark Khroma Keeper.

Who knows whether or not he'll be an actual thing in the story? I just wanted to get this out of my system because I absolutely love the idea of Dark Magical Girls (and Magical Girls in general, but details). More on him as KHROMATICA develops...
