More from Hokaze
A remix of Departure from Mega Man Zero 2 for the GBA. This was always one of my favourite tracks in the series as well as being the BGM for one of my favourite opening stages to any Mega Man game ever.
Unlike the more frantic and harsh original I opted for a softer, calmer and slower style whilst trying to keep some of the electric roots of the original. The guitars are gone however and the music now serves better perhaps as ending BGM.
It's also intended to be a nod towards Zero's heroic "departure" in MMZ4...from life.
Was inspired to do this after listening to a few remixes on the internet and some of the remastered "Mythos" album. Made in LMMS, tweaked in Audacity.
Now let's hope my creativity doesn't die off for another however many months, eh?
