I wanted to make adopts based on the DLC exclusive pokemon, so these are the first in what's hopefully a series. I'm so proud of them that I want to keep them, but I can't do that. So I priced them at what I'm comfortable letting them go at.
White Smoke came to me the easiest, he's definitely my favourite, but I have a preference for men. I imagine he gets some fire moves like fiery dance and flare blitz. I put the nose stripe on him because otherwise I wouldn't have been able to sell him at all. I'm not sure why I'm so put off by them? But I'll probably be using that trick more often.
Bumbleberry Pie was the one I had the most inspiration for. Imagine a low income mother with issues of her own, disgruntled by her situation and lack of caring enough to prevent it. She has 5 kids, maybe 6, all of wildly varying personalities. Baby daddy nowhere to be seen, off in who knows where, leaving her with no child support. She's trying, but it's not good enough. Her kids are picking up on behaviors she didn't know she had. Her coworker suggests she see a shrink, she doesn't have the time or money to do that, she's gotta make sure everyone's fed and clothed. Her motivation's getting worse. She's sad, she's lonely, she's tired. Her kids are raising themselves, hiding information from her that could make her snap. Her daughter makes her an appointment with a therapist, she's angry about it but she knows her heart is in the right place, and she's paying for it, so she'll go. It's alright, different than she expected. It takes a few sessions, but they get down to the problem. Mental health, childhood traumas, ways of thinking, bottled up emotions, building stress, it's a lot. She gets on medicine and starts to make changes to her life and her behaviors. Her children get more comfortable around her. She makes new friends, something she hasn't done in years. She can never be happy, she thinks, but she's getting close. It's comfortable.
Though if you get both, maybe White Smoke is the deadbeat?
Of course you can ignore all this if you want, once you get them its your story for you to use them in.
I'll design puppies of either of them for $30 each, when ordered by the people who purchase them. Just provide reference of the other parent and I'll do my thing. It'll be like a mystery adopt.
