Sausage Gravy on Bread Paired with Poached Eggs
Unfortunately, I didn't make any biscuits ahead of time so instead I used bread. Now, gravy is the main focus of this dish and it is delicious.
Ingredients
Uncooked sausage
Salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and some red pepper flakes.
Minced onions
Milk
Butter
Flour
Start by heating your frying pan, eventually, you're going to toss your sausage in allowing it to fully cook. Add in your salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder mixing everything. Once, you have your sausage fully cooked throw your onions in (the onions will pick up some of the flavor of the sausage) sprinkle your flour on top, stir it, add your milk in slowly, and keep stirring. Your sauce will slowly thicken up, this is when you want to add your red pepper flakes now mind you it will add some to your dish. If don't like your food having a kick to it then don't add the red pepper flakes. Finally, place your gravy on some bread (normally biscuits), poached eggs, and your favorite breakfast drink (I had some orange juice).
