Definitely. I'm an animation major so the movie was more or less a big fat load of glimmering eyecandy for me-- gorgeous stuff. :)

:D That's awesome! When I go off to college, I wanna try to major in animation too. I was touring an art college campus and squee'd so hard when I entered the animation studios! But I dunno... :I .. Animation sounds really fun but I don't know If I'd have the chance to go anywhere with it. I may just take the course for fun!

And defiantly eye candy. Everything was sooo amazingly well done :o

Animation is very, very challenging and time-consuming, so be sure to take that into account when you decide whether or not to pursue it! Although I love and am passionate about it, I wouldn't recommend it as a casual for-fun course unless you can find classes that are aimed at people doing it for fun rather than wanting to major, ESPECIALLY if you're going to an art school!

I'm just going to a state university and even our teeny-tiny animation department that no one knows about has a really hardcore workload. XD

Oh yeah! I understand that! I've read so many journals from other people saying how they sit at a chair in a dark room for hours on end for weeks and weeks trying to complete a 5 minute animation!

But it's something I'd really like to know how to do... that's about one of the only art experience I am yet to endure- and one I've been itching to do for a long time.

HAHAHA YEAH, PRETTY MUCH. It's definitely not a major for the faint of heart. :)

But if you're passionate about it and really want to learn, go for it! I don't regret it, even if I'm coming close to graduating and still have no idea what to do with my life. XD
