Looks like someone's been reading a bit too much Calvin & Hobbes. I can just imagine Big Silver yelling at Little Silver now. "SILVER! How many times do we have to take this picture before you knock that off?"
This is a parody of John Byrne's direct market cover for Man of Steel number 1 for his reboot of Superman back in 1986 following the previous year's Crisis on Infinite Earths reboot for the entire DC Universe. Somehow I can just picture Little Silver making all sorts of faces ala Calvin and his school photographs and not one of them turning out right.
