It looks like Jesse's apologies worked and the party is on! Kaelin, however, is a little nervous about the idea of hosting so many people in their modest apartment. He knows he has no reason to be nervous, but meeting so many new people at one time can be a little overwhelming. Perhaps some of his nerves come from not knowing how Jesse will behave, and how people will react to him. Especially if he doesn't change out of his pyjamas...

Nevertheless, the tattooed sphynx wants to make sure everything goes right! Having already tried on several outfits, Jesse - who's still on his first coffee of the day - offers valuable input. While Kaelin does have a lot of clothes, he doesn't have a lot of particularly nice clothes (Jesse has even less), so he might have to start thinking a bit more casual; hopefully the fourth time's the charm! He's not sure how other people will dress, so he'd like to fit in as best he can. Of course now Kaelin regrets not putting that information on his invite, but has to remind himself he doesn't need to get this stressed out, and he's likely just overreacting. Jesse's already reminded him twice this morning.

Jesse of course is still waking up, putting up with Kaelin's nonsense but not quite understanding it. He knows Kaelin can sometimes get overwhelmed by things outside of his control, and fortunately is more than happy to be a calm, grounding force for the cat when he starts getting anxious. Besides clothes, however, there are still snacks to put out, food to make, pizza to order (even though most pizza places won't open for a few hours), music to set up, games to put out, drinks to cool, but unlike Kaelin, Jesse knows none of these things need to be done immediately. He'll help with all of that, of course, but he'll need more than a couple sips of coffee before any of that happens.

For now, he'll support Kaelin as best he can, even if it means giving the cat a few stern reminders that they have all day to prepare.
