Dax Hiraxis Axon is made of steel and has the head of a graffiti can. Though it prefers to do stuff alone, this bot's been forced to socialise and get into a gang after some bad run-ins with the
police. Safety in numbers! Another thing about Dax is its appreciation for science, especially sound-based stuff. Its also into the nightlife of the Nizumi district, frequenting game hubs and gazing
into the stars, before the cops put pay walls on video games, that is. Its ultimate goal is clear, save the city, destroy currency and bring the Nizumi district back to its former glory!
Pretty fitting that I upload this in early December because DH Axon is a character based off of Dax from Tiny Brains, an indie game that was released in early December 2013. Ten years ago! Happy Anniversary, Tiny Brains! I remember seeing Northernlion playing the game on YouTube with his buddies and getting LittleBigPlanet vibes from it, as well as seeing how awesome of a character Dax is. Seriously, I ended up adding Dax into my drawings and comics back then due to how cool he is, and I did so up until September 2014 when I moved onto High School and I had to put comics behind me to focus on other things. And back then when I was just starting to envision what would become Street Soul in my mind, Dax was gonna be one of the playable characters, but still, in 2014, Dax slowly started to fade from my drawings...
Until late 2021! Dax has now given the torch on to DH Axon, a clear and chrome inspirational shout out to him who's now gonna be in Street Soul! Hey, they even have the same names, too! I also copied the font from Tiny Brains for this very special image and I plan to add a special alternate costume for DH Axon that adds Dax into the game, but as a Zero Beat type of deal with a more futuristic appearance.
