Painter IX.V & Wacom Intuos 4; ~150 minutes

Was originally going to work on some new lineart of my own, but then I couldn't be arsed, and ended up messing around with someone else's again.
Took some inspiration from
alpha0's speedpaints again. Actually did it all in one session... Not sure when I last did that with a painting, but it was pretty fun. Partly, this was also an excuse to try out some brushes I set up today. Wheee~

Good stuff. Also, love thewielder's lineart here.
I'm not entirely sold on this one though, i don't like the blurriness and the water is a bit too "muddy". Also the lion body makes me thing of a very strong yellow-tinted upper light and that doesn't show itself into the rest of the picture. I love how you can handle so well very saturated colors, BTW, I'm totally struggling there.

I can´t stop saying that the coloring looks very, but very impressive. I mean, the choose of colors for the water, it gives bright, reflection of the sky and the surrounding area, and those little imitation of waves gives movement into it. The coloring of the plant´s in front shows the real difference of perspective with the other plants of the other side. And the character´s anatomy and proportions looks great, without mentioning the shading.
I´ll like to say that it looks so lively and with a sweet envirotment. ^ ^
