My attempt at this week's Thursday Prompt. This week, the word for the prompt was "enjoyment".
As always, please be sure to check
ThursdayPrompt for more.
Started this one, got half way through it and was double guessing myself. It's meant to be a part of one of my bigger projects, but I think it needs some serious work.
(Got into modern swing music a little while ago and wanted to do a scene something like this ever since. Still needs work though.)

A bit of a slow start, but definitely picks up by the end. I was genuinely surprised when she started man-handling the poor bull-man which made me ask who, or even what, is she. A mystery for sure.
I will say that the use of minotaur rather than just a bull-man does conjure interesting imagery though. From the original myth in the labyrinth, to the works by Pablo Picasso, to the very strange minotaur from the tabletop game "The Clay that Woke" the name just conjures expectations that there is more to the servant than at first glance as well. Not sure if that's what you were going for or not, but just the name to me gives a sense of myth. Which in many ways, also creates an interesting dichotomy in that he seems entirely mundane compared to this enigmatic woman.

I'm glad to hear you seem to think things at least got a bit better by the end. Since this is a part of one of my bigger projects, the woman's eccentric behavior and ability does get explained but I wanted to leave it purposefully unexplained here (mostly because she has not properly been introduced yet).
I hadn't known that Picasso did anything minotaur-related, but that tabletop game sounds kind of fun. When I started the larger story, I was really thinking World of Warcraft tauren-like appearances, I just didn't want to call them tauren and opted for minotaur because I always liked the old Greek myth.
Thank you very much for having given it a read, much appreciated.
