Just more based off of the prior post on these space magic laser guns! Somewhat complicated to make but immensely durable, reliable, essentially free to load (raw mana will do) and widespread. Often filling countless niches as regional variations in designs and applications take over. Some may behave like shotguns or rifles, Mostly single shots, maybe some double chambers (two chambers for two shots) or even more fancy technologies amongst the more industrious of dragons.
Most being essentially mana charged by a dynamo and a manual bellow all attached to a cranking system (or other such dynamo operating mechanism). The mix of mechanical and electrical energy makes a pressurized, malleable, high energy mana that can be released with some serious force and energy. That energy can be shaped, sped up, and directed via a "nozzle" which can be very simple or very complicated. Usually more complicated than a barrel though. some may be made by a series of smaller nozzles that introduces a bit of "open air" which may make such a thing sketchy. But should still work as long as the prior nozzle does a good job of bringing most of the energy into the next one, so on so forth.
But perhaps the most exemplary (and probably violent) of manatechnologies. Requires very little infrastructure to make, even if difficult, requires very little upkeep and can function very independently from larger communities, making it, as well as many other 'advanced' technologies relatively easy for most to access and participate in.

Maybe it's the curves of the designs but these make me think of Afghan Jezail flintlock rifles. Especially 2 and 4. They don't really have much in common but the rifles just spring to mind looking at these.
I always love seeing the thought you put behind your world and designs. can't wait to see what you come up with next.

There are a lot of little inspirations, Generally the firearms made and/or modified by nonstate folks. Jezails yes but also things like Dane Guns in Nigeria and Ghana, Cambodia, Native american trade muskets, etc.
Basically stuff that was and still is made in smaller workshops, craft production, and individually made things
And thanks! I try pretty hard so I appreciate it that much harder

Mana? Tricky question since it’s not of this reality. But usually no. Not in it’s pure form
The energy they develop and the pressure, while not extreme recoil for all but the most extreme sizes would probably exist.
Probably not as bad as human firearms though and more comparable to air guns recoil wise since a similar thing is happening
