In almost all cases you are going to sign the offer, I get it, but you should know what you are signing up to.
My experience is no one remembers what is in the contract UNTIL THEY SUDDENLY HAVE TO (e.g., they get fired, they are thinking of leaving without notice, they were denied vacation days). The examples included in the tip are common sources of hardship and surprise expenses.
