A great horned owl made a fool of my friend and I. It was hooting its lil heart out- until we got close. I wanted a pic, darnit! Crunchy leaves made stealth impossible. :( And as soon as we walked away, the hooting resumed. We must have walked right under it. Pretty scenery though. The owl is in the big pine to the left.
