Back around '78-'79 i was putting together a comic book portfolio while going to art school, but then around '80 i switched over to putting together an illustration portfolio, but then again i ended-up in the animation biz in '82. There were a few fun pages in that old comics portfolio, so ....
The skill bar in comics was usually a lot lower back around then (with the exceptional Great Artists being few) so don't laugh too hard at this. i was trying to come-up with a style that was a blend of Smith, Moebius, etc - but i had tried a thick ruogh looking outline style that didn't work well with that idea. i only did this one page in that style.

yeah same here. but thats because i have to focus on indy comic creation. so i look at popular indy comics and their success rather than your run of the mill usual comics like marvel or dc. i just dont have the support or resources like regular comics and comic creators do who work for those large companies. still love your stuff though! ;)
