Job: Used to be a warrior, currently FBI special agent in modern times.
World: Earth (Originally from medieval times)
Personality: Confident, loves to tease, flirty, loud, intelligent, playful, and a sweetheart.
Friends: Casten, Magnus, Yuri, Apollo, Danny, Mac, Ren, Kai, Karim, Osiris, Kaden, Michael, Scar, Blake, William, and many more.
Hobbies/Interests: Learning magic, understanding the modern world, watching movies, sparring, eating pizza, walking around naked, playing games, going on nature walks, and many more.
A bit of backstory: Velgar was a warrior from the medieval times of Earth who was sent forward in time to modern days. His life wasn't too different from other people of his time other than his spark for magic. He was recruited at a young age to fight for the kingdom. His life was never the same after joining, he had to learn to use different weapons and plan out how best to go around the battlefield. He was quick to pick up two-handed weapons as his ideal fighting style, he loved the glaive and greatsword. Though he enjoyed using a sword and shield, spears, halberds, dual swords, and naginata. He was trained by a few different warriors and taught how to think quickly and plan ahead. He was good at overpowering people in a fight with his raw strength and good at intimidating his foes.
Velgar had an interest outside of the battlefield, he enjoyed learning how things worked. He wanted to understand magic and learn how to use it himself, he often sought out the sage Kol to teach him the ways of magic. The old sage decided to give him a few lessons, sometimes he had him do tasks only using magic, and other times he had him study books on how to do it. Velgar struggled with using magic, but over time he started to get to hang of simple tasks. Kol explained that Velgar has a deep connection and source for magic, however, he is untrained and needs to learn to control it. So Kol worked with him to try and control it, he hoped to find a kind of magic the gnoll would be good at. However, they never truly explored it before the incident.
Velgar along Kol and a few knights sneaked into the Eastern Kingdom, the same kingdom they were at war with. There were rumors about mages gathering within the walls to perform some kind of ritual, but the specifics were unknown. By the time they found the hideout, they were too late. The mages unleashed the magic that had gathered in the circle, only for it to go out of control. Kol knew right away this wasn't good, he knew that the ritual failed and was about to blow. Before it went off, Kol used his magic to try and protect Velgar. He tried to teleport him out of the area. However, the spell was unstable due to the ritual, and was caught in the explosion. That was the last thing Velgar remembered, as he saw Kol casting a spell on him and suddenly an explosion. The next thing Velgar saw was the blue sky and tall buildings all around him.
He quickly found that he wasn't in the kingdom anymore, it wasn't even in the countryside. He came out from an alleyway to discover people wearing weird clothing and riding weird metal beasts. It was not long before people started to freak out about a large gnoll carrying a giant sword. Unsure of why people were freaking out he tried to talk to him, but they seemed more terrified by him. Soon a group came up to him, a snow leopard and a white and black fox. They introduced themselves as Yuri and Anders, then offered to take him somewhere they could talk away from all the noise and concern. Once they get Velgar into Yuri's office, he talks to him about what is going on. Quickly they discover that Velgar is from the medieval period, he jumped through time and arrived in modern times. Yuri and his coworker Cole explained to Velgar that he thinks happened is whatever spell was being cast might have backfired and sent Velgar into the future. It's possible that it was a teleportation spell that shifted when the blast happened.
After speaking with Velgar and learning about his situation, Yuri decided to offer him help. Yuri told him a place to stay and to help teach him about their modern time. He would also help Velgar learn the history of those he knew and figure out if there was a way to go back. However, Velgar declines the offer. He instead wanted to learn more about this time and figure out what happened to those he knew. In exchange, he would like to work with Yuri and his team. He realizes that he could put his skills to use in this time and if he was sent to this timeline there must have been a purpose. So he wishes to do his part. Yuri accepts his deal but adds that Velgar will need to change up his clothes and possibly get some modern updates on things. He also told Velgar that he would be living with Yuri and he would assist in him learning as much as he could. Cole decided to assist as well, teaching him what he knows about history and daily things as well.
Velgar soon becomes part of the team, a member of the Special FBI Unit. He provides raw strength and slowly learning his magic abilities. He gets along great with many of the team members and is a great friend to Yuri, Casten, and Blake. During all of this, he seems to learn how to use his magic and gain an understanding in how to shape it.
