That picture ... is special for me.
It is based on a picture that I took back in 2018, when I had probably the best time of my life at a furry convention.
It wasn't the first time at this con, but somehow, that year .. everything was almost perfect.
A con is difficult to me, thanks to social situations being very taxing for me. I loved every minute, but every minute has a price.
But despite that, I had a great time and was in the company of great people. Sadly I lost contact with a number of them since then.
Still .. It is a memory to treasure and I wanted that picture to be transferred into my fursona's life.
So this isn't a paintover, but rather a re-creation of the actual photo in my hotel room. Just a quick pitstop, drinking some water and energy drink and then back into the con area.
Also the body type is different (I am a heavyset guy IRL) and I don't have piercings or anything.
But, the shirt with the bear from the Crinklz brand is the same (just black rather than the original brown, since it would look silly with brown fur), the phone was the same (I had a Huawai P9 at that time) and of course all of the wrist bands are real.
The ones on my right arm (actual right, not mirror right) say: "Crinkle, Crinkle" and "Furries ruin everything".
I found that combination absolutely hilarious.
And yeah, the Crinklz Astronaut were the same of course. ;)

I asked  BabyBippy if they would be able to draw it and, oh man, they sure delivered!
I love how it came out and it feels just perfect for my grown-up crinklesona.
