Really fun story idea. Kept that old fun star treky feel. The handling of the post TF merge was well done. Really good resolution of conflict too there at the end.

Thank you! I had the basics of this story idea in my mind for a long time, but it has undergone quite some changes during the writing process.

Everything fell into place once I made Inžreś' mom the main antagonist. She was - ironically enough - quite fun to write as an irredeemable villain, and I purposely never let her say her daughter's name until right at the end, to drive home she really sees her daughter as just a means to her own ambitions.

Micha having regrets about his life and seeing this as an opportunity to start over again was also a later addition that helped me giving her a reason not to split up.
The subplot with the date with Nurlan was also a later addition, and a good place to dump Kim's inner thoughts, plus I wanted Nurlan to have a role in one of these stories, because he's also an interesting character.

Yes, this is definitely Star Trek inspired, but with everyone being a furry creature and magic being a thing this is clearly its own thing. If you haven't read them already, there are more stories about this ship and its crew on my account.

I really love this world you’ve got set up. (Even though I didn’t read all of them)

I have my own sci-fi world of the same nature. And I am very “prescuious” (made up word, as in wondering, but I can’t find the right word so yes) As to how both of them would react to each other.

This is already a collab project, originally started by Sabrina-taur and DustCharter that I joined over a year ago. This is just one slice of a bigger fantasy/sci-fi story universe spanning multiple eras. We do have a private Discord server. I do have to warn you this story universe does contain some mature elements, which may be a bit of an issue considering your age, but we have some provisions for that if you don't want to deal with that. Personally, I prefer to avoid it in my stories as well, so I can reach a wider audience, and usually when I have to use the Mature rating, it's usually for some heavy subjects (like violence) instead of the "naughty stuff".
