I have had a hard time drawing recently. My right wrist is is pain from carpel tunnel so I haven't drawn anything because it hurts...BUT I did paint this on Tuesday for a co-worker. She had to put down her cat on Monday because it was dying from kidney failure and couldn't control when it went to the bathroom. It was her first and only cat that she had for 14 years and even though she didn't have much money, she took it to the vet and then a week and a half later, had to put her down. She took it very hard and even let the cat lay on her bed and pet her even though she would "go" on her. She thought that having to wash her bedsheets were worth having and holding her cat for it's last couple of days. So yeah, this image has meaning behind it. All I know was that her cat was orange, white and black.

Thank you very much Jonathan. I know how it feels to loose an animal so close to you. I am still not over the death of my cat from over a year ago. I miss her terribly so I thought a small art gift would maybe help show that I care and worried about her.
P.S. I am a bit sad I missed your show but I heard it was good! I expected nothing less. I am sorry I couldn't have been there, I really really really wanted to be there. :C

She is an awesome cat owner. She even gave it a nice burial with a casket and even put her cats favorite blanket in with it. I know she is taking it hard because now she doesn't have the cat around. Her family was not supportive that she was letting her cat "go" all over her house and said to just "get rid of it" and to "shoot it". Her family never owned a cat and this was her first experience with a cat. I was so glad the cat ended up with her when it was a kitten.
I will see what she says about the card today. I am going to get my co-workers to sign it and then give it to her. She has no idea I am doing this. :)

My mom has a 16 year old cat who is showing her age and getting a little senile. She deals with her missing he litter box and stuff. She's not in pain so my mom is letting her be a happy cat because she is. Not many people would do that or what your friend did.
This will be a sweet surprise. I hope she likes it, especially with everyone signing it.
