eughjghf thank you, I do suggest doing some studies of birds, drawing from reference and learning the shapes of what makes up their form. I know the larger beaks can really trip up a lot of folk, myself included, but you can also look at art stylizing birds and see how others simplify them to get an idea if doing real birds is too daunting.
Wings are probably the most complicated part, too, but there are lots of tutorials and references of how to break down wing anatomy!
