It was difficult to draw this scene.
I had thought about having his daughter lean over to comfort him, but then realized, no. A sheyena would not comfort a snivelling male, even if it's her own father. And considering what Tod has done--including allowing his wife, Violante's mother, leader of their clan--to be murdered by her sister--she would feel nothing but loathing for him now.
I do sort of feel sorry for the terrified old man who realizes how his foolish ambition is about to destroy his family.
But Tod made a deal with the Devil and must pay the price.
Saying "I'm sorry" does not make it all okay.
