A smart and calm scientist that plenty of folks in the army enjoy and are fine being around, but a terrifying, devilish individual to those on the opposing side.
He was a former assistant to a lead scientist in a large research company in Mobius. He assisted with designs and formulas for projects to help push their branch forward and impress bosses. He did admire his coworker, a tall, gray, and brown rabbit, who was in charge. While he was smart, he could only come so close to her intellect and wasn't as versatile as she was. He mostly did well with chemicals with a slight understanding of tech. The skunk held such high respect for her! Concern would hit when everyone, including her, struggled to figure out something. They needed a concept to convince their bosses/investors to fund them. He.. had nothing, and feared the worst as he went home.
The next day, his coworker would have an idea ready, surprising the skunk and dashing his worries away. He worked happily and prepared his equipment as the meeting was held. Once it was over, he would see the lead scientist he respected was upset. He tried to call for her, but she declined. The chemist wondered what went wrong as he heard the chatter of others. They knew about the meeting and mocked and shamed the plan she had. That rabbit was trying to create a formula that allowed mobians to expand and balloon, but for what purpose? Safety? Assistance? To them, it was a horny desire no one needed to hear and should have been kept in their personal space. The skunk was baffled at their reactions and attempted to stand up for her, leading to him being questioned for supporting something so ridiculous. He shook off their insults and remained determined that she would work something out.
He held his confident grin as the rabbit would not show up the next day. She likely needed a break, he thought. The next couple of days she would not show up either, leaving him pondering as he tried to work. She would appear briefly to do some work with a different attitude. It seemed she hardly cared for the lab she was in and just gathered a few ingredients and notes before heading off. The skunk stopped and greeted her before asking what she was doing. She gave an odd smile before telling him not to worry and left. His confidence declined as a scientist laughed at him before suggesting he should get back to work. He clenched his fists before walking back.
The hare would sporadically show up at rare times, checking on her notes and commenting about her work before leaving. The skunk struggled to keep balance as investors began to demand more from the company while expecting something of high value. He tried to keep a few folks in order but that only lasted so long. The skunk felt like an anxious mess as the scientist he despised mocked him. When the rabbit showed up once more, humming, the skunk got in her way. He demanded to know where she had been, what she was doing, what should he be doing... His coworker looked at him, saddened at his weary appearance. She offered him something. She mentioned leaving particular notes on her computer and suggested he figure it out. He was confused by what she meant but... it might be worth a shot.
To keep some grip on his sanity, he got to work on what that rabbit pointed him to. He first had to crack the password on her computer before being greeted with a program that featured blueprints for an incomplete formula. Did she want him to finish this? The skunk used the details and hints he could gather to fill in the blanks. His first attempts were deemed incorrect as he scratched his head, understanding what it was supposed to be. Any projects he had before were put on hold as he chipped away at this challenge. His mind became fascinated as it pieced closer and closer to the solution, realizing what it was. Had she been working away at her proposed idea this whole time, on her own? He smiled, seeing his coworker never gave up and was determined to make her plans come true. He completed the formula and attempted to see if he could make it himself.
He created a concoction from those blueprints, fascinated by its bubbly, liquid appearance. The skunk did not care what people were saying behind his back, no one really mattered around him. Just as he enjoyed his creation, someone would interrupt him. It was his annoying rival. He mocked and explained to him that his coworker would no longer be in charge due to her attendance and that disastrous proposal so now the person he despised was the new head scientist. His heart slowed and he was stunned before anger swelled within him. He was not going to let this happen. The building would shake as lab workers became confused and alarmed. "We are under attack!" A guard shouted as he barged into the lab. It was a small army led by a familiar hare, trying to take over the company. Many became scared and others hoped their security team could pull through, but the skunk saw this as an opportunity. He prepped a few syringes and began to inject them into a couple of people. They screamed and questioned why he would do that moments before feeling their bodies gurgle and blow up. They would quickly become rotund and swollen, unable to move and beg for help. Seeing the results tickled something in him.
The skunk set his sights on the one he disliked most. The soon-to-be head scientist saw what that man did and told him to back off. The two would get into a fight, throwing punches and kicks at one another. The skunk would get his enemy in a headlock and inject with a lot more of the substance than the others. He watched the creature he despised expand in his grasp and listened to its hide stretching further than it should. He kept his grip to ensure they couldn't do anything as their body pushed further and wider in an attempt to contain all the pressure in their system. Within moments, they exploded into pieces. The skunk sat there, astonished. What seemed horrifying to the rest...excited him. It was as if something clicked in him as he grinned madly. He shifted his menacing gaze to the rest that had yet to be bloated. Their pleas fell on deaf ears as he approached them.
The doors to the lab would open as a few soldiers in purple uniforms stepped in, armed with weapons. A tall, dark grey, and brown rabbit stepped in wearing a lavender-colored outfit akin to an admiral's. She saw the lab filled with taut scientists, save for one, the skunk. He stood there with a sharp grin and greeted her. She was impressed with his effort but corrected him on one thing. He attempted to call her by name but she told him that wasn't her own anymore. She goes by Admiral. He smirked and understood immediately. She offered him to join and he took it right away after he decided he should abandon his identity, choosing to go by Bombak.
Bombak stands proud as the lead scientist and second in command of Admiral's army. He focuses on producing chemicals and weapons to help expand the power of the force and grant them more ways to deal with opposing threats. Rather than use the same injection Admiral took to give herself the power to expand and stretch at will while also being incredibly strong and durable, he made his own based on it, When he is not conducting experiments on prisoners, he is more than happy to make use of his legs to kick any threat around, even toss in a few dance moves. He sees battling as a chance to play around and experiment with whatever new concoction he just happened to have made. What makes him terrifying is how much gas he holds in his body. One small toot could demolish quite a section of a village. He is always producing so much of it and no matter how much he lets out, he always seems to have plenty more. It brings shivers down anyone's spine when the thought of one blast from the rear could destroy a city if he felt like it... but it wouldn't be that exciting to do such a thing immediately. It's more fun to see good-doers try to stop him first, even if they may meet an explosive fate.
