Nooooooo, my Nessie plushie! ; A ;

A dumb idea that I got while we were playing the newest event in Apex Legends, where you were allowed to respawn 3 times as a squad before you got sent back to the lobby. It was a lot of fun, super chaotic though. It's sadly over now, but supposedly they'll bring it back again, so hype ??

Anywho, to better explain! The newest season of Apex Legends changed one of the maps, as every season does, and this time, they added in a lil' secret easter egg you can get while playing. If you find and pickup a Nessie plush (yes it goes into your inventory, yes it's as cute as it sounds), and then manage to win with it in your inventory, you'll get a special little surprise on the victory screen.
So obviously, being the Nessie fanboi that I am, decided that I wanted to do that!
Problem is, I'm very bad at the game, so it turned out to be a lot more of a struggle than initially anticipated.
Since we were playing in the event and got multiple lives, I figured it was the perfect chance to try! Problem was, as I discovered, if you died while holding the plushie, it wouldn't stay in your inventory upon respawning, instead it would sit (very cutely I might add), on top of your deathbox, which lead to moments of me having found it, us dying and then me sadly going "noooooo my Nessie plushie!" as we were forced to abandon it because of the ring (you take damage outside of it) already having moved in on the area we died in or the person in charge of where we were landing, deciding we should land elsewhere (we had a random third person in our squad).

Now obviously, she didn't actually drag me away in the actual game, that's just something we both thought was funny though <:
