Roxie finally joins her brothers in the jungle as "Roxxa of the Rainforest," based on Hanna-Barbera's "Jana of the Jungle," a Tarzan-like female character.
She swings in to make a grand entrance into a makeshift boxing ring.
"Eat your heart out, Ali and Foreman! This is a REAL 'Rumble in the Jungle!'"
I've never actually seen this cartoon. The pose here was inspired by a promotional image. The look of her face was also somewhat influenced by Katy Kangaroo from Ruby-Spears' "Saturday Supercade."
According to Wikipedia, Jana came to the jungle looking for her father, so maybe Roxxa is here looking for her brothers, giving her a bit more knowledge of the outside world and things like boxing.
