Timeline Date: July 15, 2012
For all intents and purposes, Brooke Frost is 15, Lucy Walker is 16

During an afternoon out at Bonnie Doon, Lucy catches Brooke looking into Ardene, also catching a wistful sigh. Lucy decides to bring Brooke in, despite her initial resistance. Brooke resistance fades away slightly when she remembers that her mom won't be home until September.

After a while they head back to Brooke's house to try on the outfits, though they did make sure to compensate for Brooke's frame. Lucy hands Brooke a bow and a choker, with colours in a pattern she doesn't recognize. With a little help, the bow and choker are put on. Lucy took slight advantage of the fact that Brooke was only aware of the rainbow pride flag.

Brooke turns to her mirror, caught in a brief moment of shock. She's shaken from her reverie when Lucy hugs her and kisses her cheek.
"See babe? I told you that you'd look cute." She compliments
"Y-Yeah..." She didn't notice she extended a hand to the mirror with a gentle smile.
"Now we both are cute girls, if you want to be" Lucy affirms.
Brooke replies with a sheepish chuckle, but quickly follows up with asking Lucy to keep this day secret, which Lucy agrees.

Over the next few months, she realizes that she's trans, and comes out to Lucy in March 2013, the rest of her friend group in April, and those she deemed safe before the end of her Grade 11 year
