Now this guy, inspired by the Gremlin/Puca myths, got me thinking of this idea of Highland gremlins/Pucá-lin. Who are and I quote:

"A mischievous, rough and tumble little creatures close to nature. Who also have an interest in wreaking havoc in heavy machinery. Rather it be aircraft or other complex contraption making a ruckus in their home. Threatening, but not wish to kill travelers. Having goodwill yet can prefer playful diabolical sabotage and harassment. They usually terrorize their victims silly and some having little ill intentions to victims. Just playful trickery and kicks. Most of them take pity on them and might bring them home safely."

With this is the case for Angus, who ironically is the helper of maintaining Greta's plane, the Red Baroness. Barely reaching her hip in terms of height. But has great honor to be by her side after this little tale.


Bio:

A persnickety and charming trickster of a "little man". At first, not much know-how then it comes to taking apart aircraft. But a heavy reader, and everything he read, he remembers it by heart by new information received. Like how planes are made, and how it can be taken apart! All because Greta was flying too close to his forest home of the Highlands. With needed peace and quiet from those “flying metal devils”. Then, after meeting Greta, the Tanuki came up with a deal. Well mostly after shenanigans of him spooking her and sabotaging her plane. She will provide him with food, shelter, and a chance to see the world. In exchange for his services in repairing her aircraft. Impressed by his ability to think and memorized information completely on the fly. Such as read on complex machines and how they work. Rather than messing her plane, he rather repairs, and can maintain her plane in said agreement. Even fixing her craft in mid-flight! Due to having very adhesive hands and clawed shoes to grip on to her plane as he starts the repairs. Even if he misses his forest home, he has a chance to see the world, but can make him jumpy with Greta’s flying stunts. But curious of what's over the rainbow. However, incase if he gets too mischievous, Greta will just say: “spurs”. As Angus as a deep fear up to almost religious degree. Since in his traditions, they are referred to as “sharp things". A symbol of “impending doom and suffering”. Yet, she knows not to say it too much. As she as respects for him, just as much as he does.
