Zed Vector Title screen-style art (640x480)
In fact it was my very first attempt to do anything new with my first OC Zed Vector, even before animated portraits, and the first attempt to do at least a little bit of a realistic pixel shading before I tried a full-fledged complex 16-bit pixel art for a commission. No big thought behind it, it wasn't supposed to be a start of some big project, just wanted to make a game-styled pixel art because pixel art and games are connected very tightly for me, not a big fan of just regular images made in pixel style, I always love to think of every pixel art being somewhat imaginable in a game. Gathered a bunch of groovy design elements together here and made a fancy font composition for Zed Vector name, it was actually drawn long time ago when I was working for an exhibition piece with Zed and pondered another idea for him which involved his name done in some wacky style. 640x480 pixel wide version was the first one I did, making it look like something from the middle 90s like all these famous point and click adventure games because even famous Amiga and Atari ST computers still had 320x200 resolution for games. I did compressed version later just to see how it could look in a more common resolution of 16 bit platforms, it's not only just simple scaling to 50% size because you can't compress outlines which are already one pixel thick, some of them just disappear, so after compressing the image I still had a lot of work to make it look clean and nice.
