Loss.
People dealt with loss in many different ways. Some drank their way past the pain. Others refused to deal with it, allowing their pain to weight them down for years, perhaps forever. When June was taken away from Seque he didn't know how to deal with the guilt and the pain and the remorse that were eating away at him.
After all, he was the reason she was gone. It was his choice not to head straight home after the assignment was over. He wanted to goof around with Aijax and now... June had to pay for it. He'd eventually arrived back at base just in time to find the Raccoon he'd loved, the girl who had saved herself for him longer than anyone in history... had been eaten alive and now she was gone.
Seque went off the rails, he dropped off the grid for a week and found comfort at the bottom of a bottle most nights. But it would not keep the nightmares away for long. June came to him in them, blaming him for her death, her body half-digested and melting. The moment she screamed at him, the Husky woke up and another day began. He eventually found comfort in the arms of an old friend and an old enemy. Mary-Rose had been chasing him in their so-called "Game" for months, but once she heard about Seque's loss she offered to stop and she was there for him at his lowest point. He'd forever thank her for that.

This was something I just had to get done. It was part of a rather epic storyline in an RP chronicling Seque's life. The person that I can thank for being my partner is of course
. He's been my RP guy for years now and it was amazing to get to this part with him. So much so that I got a picture relating to it! Cappuccino, you're awesome!

Aww, I'm so glad you've enjoying the "Chronicles of Seque" (like the title? It's a running, pre-production title. ^^) I know I most certainly am, and every aspect of it, from the light-hearted antics, to the serious, depth-building story lines have always been a joy to be a part of.
