A lone figure stands upon a battlefield, a war long since gone. And yet, the taste of misery still sits deliciously upon her tongue. The souls of the damned wail as the gluttonous sanguine lord feasts upon their forgotten tragedy.
She has not come here just to delight the remnants of battle, however.
No, these rotting bones have rested long enough. It is time that they rise to serve a greater purpose— to realize a better glory than a war between mortals. Because, unlike this petty mortal squabble that was forgotten to time, she is eternal.

Ascelin is definitely a necromancer among... other things lol. I really need to start delving into just what this lady is. I wouldn't say she's purely evil, surprisingly. Is she good, though? Oh, absolutely not. I've, also, been thinking about her story and trying to decide between two different... 'things' for her that definitely influence a bit of how I see her. Regardless, I am DEFINITELY eager to get some more art to showcase her story, so stay tuned! <3
That aside though, Yanir did an AMAZING job (as per usual) with my girl, and I loooove the mood of the piece. Such an amazing background that conveys a sense of dreariness I was going for!
