I dunno if anyone remembers, but I've been sporadically drawing/writing a Prince of Persia-esque illustrated story on here, called "The Prince" (check my gallery for it). Anyway, in the story, I've introduced the character of "The Prince" (of course), and a few others that will be expanded upon later, but no princess.

I've had a design for her in mind for quite a long time too. Considering the sprawling, dizzying vistas that are apparent in the games, and considering that the Prince character I was using is anthro (some sort of cat thing), I tried to think about what sort of people would live in a land like you see in the games. I had to conclude on some sort of monkey.

Problem is, I wanted her to look less like a monkey and more like, well, a normal person. Which is harder than I thought it'd be, considering I need to practice normal humans more often. So she's gone through quite a few revisions, all of which sucked, until tonight when I couldn't sleep, I decided to give her a try again.

I rather like how she turned out. I'm not sure on the exact species of monkey, but it doesn't really matter, its based roughly off of a little monkey I saw in the D. Gray Man manga, so...yeah, lol.

Athletic, lithe and nimble, she should give the Prince a run for his money when she shows up.
