And a movie joke.

This is OLD. I've been working on it for half of forever! Finally it's done. XD
Mostly a study of predatory movement... I very rarely draw the actual swallow, so I was basically testing to see if I could. XDXD

For predation , totally yes, for the size, it doesn't matter as long as the prey is smaller than the pred.
And i don't know why but I like Avian/winged dragon as prey.
Curiously, for the only terror I've drawed/colored, I've finded it a lot of funnier to color than Toothy. Cause toothless is always DarK/Bule. XP

Well, actually, it's Toothless eating Toothless- that red and green Terrible Terror was originally designed to play Toothless (as, in the book, Toothless was super small). So yeah, it's not true cannibalism, but it is essentially a character eating his former self. XD Conceptual cannibalism or something. XD That's more where the title comes from.

Also I wouldn't go as far as to consider what Hic said. For one they never exactly thought (AFAIK) night fury's being that way, and secondly I doubt Toothless would resort to that out of the blue.

XD Well, honestly, it's a joke. In the scene of the movie when Hiccup meets the Terrors, one curls up under his hand, and he says this exact line. I was spoofing that scene.
In any case, saying "everything we know about you guys is wrong" in this situation kind of implies that Hiccup did not expect Toothless to do that- which is another part of the joke- it's supposed to be funny because it's unexpected of cute, cuddly Toothy to be so vicious.
I agree, though, that another dragon wouldn't exactly make a great meal. Too many spikes and too much wing. XD A nice soft human (even an exceptionally bony one) is much yummier.

Well I know that, and it is funny, I'm just divided over half of my laughing at the image and the other half being upset at it
It's pathetic really, I've been easily ... Eh... angered over dragon canni' for 20 years, and I was a popular bully target all during Elementry School and through Jr High because they knew that they could set me off that way. Oddly enough that was not an issue during High School. Perhaps my knack for 3D work had something to do with it huh? Throwing together a stupid looking JP dino running around was enough to make a lot of kids there "respect" me long enough to run away. :P
In any case, don't take any of my comments about these things to heart, and I don't ever mean anything offensive.

Well, no worries. It's not about to be a trend with me or anything- it's just the flavor of the month. XD And I understand, in this deal, that there's a lot of facets and philosophies, so no worries.

Toothless's parent's coming to town. I imagine they *might* not be happy with him taking orders from something smaller than himself.

This one would be more cute/fun than else, but remember Genie from Disney's Aladdin? Toothless finds his lamp, and now everyone on the island - as his first wish - has to be his servant. His second and third wish I would assume would involve fish, but outside of that I dunno.
