Dry lake bed doesn't really mean dry does it???
The water must have left this section relatively recently as it wasn't frozen mud this time. At the deepest it was ankle deep in cold mud. It sad this isn't accessible in the summer time. This would be probably under about 20 feet of water in the summer months. Also, its cold outside, so no barefoot squish for me.
