It's a Cockatiel.

I tried something a little different with my marker shading on this one and also tried to work on my linework too. I'm really happy with how it came out, I really like it.

Ugh stupid owners 8c. I know mine never bites he just like nips but it barely hurts at all. I'm gonna commit more to training him this summer. I wanna see if i can get him used to walking on solid surfaces and not just me XD. He dosen't seem to mind couches and stuff its like tables or my bed o_o..
IF he already likes you then having a friend shouldn't make him hate you. Though if you give an unsocialized bird a friend he will only like his friend because... he's not socialized to people. Birds are weird and have odd behaviors sometimes, it's a risk you would have to take.
There's also the risk of him not liking the other bird and becoming jealous you're paying attention to it.
Make sure they're the same sex if you get another one. Having a male and female can cause the male to get very territorial over his female and very jealous of you.

Yea, just handle him a lot, he'll desensitize. Teaching him to step up on your hand so you don't have to forcefully grab him will help too. Birds much prefer willingly getting on your hand over being grabbed.
Just bring your hand up behind his feet and try to slide them under. Whenever you get him on your hand clearly say "Step"
That's how we do it with the teaching birds at the center, I'm sure it would work the same way for a smart bird like a Cockatiel.
