Well, it doesn't make sense so... Mission failed succsesfully, I think.
It looks cool though so, if I may:
The bullet belts are purely cosmetic. Not even real bullets.
Probably those cannons would be plasma coilguns. [Superheating small particles and accelerating them upwards mach 10 or something.]
