This is a picture I drew back in 2008. Around that time, I had been a Zelda fan for more than a year at that point having just finished the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. At that time, I was a huge Ruto and Link shipper and this was my idea for what their child could have looked like if they ever had one. However, in the modern days, I am not entirely sure if this couple would even work anymore considering the official timelines. I know that it can't happen in the Adult Timeline because Link was sent back to relive his childhood or in the Downfall Timeline because Link was killed in battle. I am also aware that the Hero's Shade in Twilight Princess is the spirit of the Hero of Time.

I added Tael from Majora's Mask here since at this time, I had thought that if this character got his own game, Tael would be his fairy partner since this would have continuity from Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask.
