Been in Arizona since 1995. Texas from Jan 1972 to June 1995. Hehe I swear zoo animals do the worst stuff during school zoo field trip day. Saw some hilarious stuff at Wildlife World Zoo near Luke AFB in the Phoenix AZ area. I'd been desert camping at a hot spring outside of the greater Phoenix area and on the way home, decided to stop at the zoo. I was wearing tan field pants,khaki shirt, safari vest and hat. Folks thought I was a zoo employee. Watched 3 6th grade boys dare each other to climb a fence and get close to a Tigress - Golden Tabby coated one at that. Teachers and Moms busy chatting. I step up and go "Boys, back behind the barrier. She's on a restricted diet and doesn't need any Finger Food" The boys hustle back, the teacher and Moms are appologizing and begging I don't throw them out of the zoo. I was just in full security guard mode and having fun with them. Gave a little lecture on paying attention and walked off after saying the park staff would be keeping an eye on them. Tigress was giving me a sour glare, guess I ruined her potential snack/fun. Frankly I was more worried about her than the brats and adults. Zoo animals always suffer if someone is a dumbass around them.
That's both hysterical and horrible. Hysterical at the "Hehe" ya got. Horrible, you deprived the tigress of a possible snack but, may have possibly saved her life. Hells know what's in the foods these days

this wasn't an assassination attempt, this was a message. if it had been an assassination attempt, the assassins would have used guns instead of blades. probably submachine guns since it would have allowed them to spray the target area with a large number of bullets in a very short amount of time. to short for anyone to react other than getting shot anyways.
